About sselvi
Sselvi - Alessia, began painting and creating installations during moments in search of self expression and with the aim to explore profoundly the bridge between conceptual and contemporary in fashion and art. Her Bachelor degree in fashion design allowed her to explore many areas such as understand and improve her identity as designer and artist. She is a very curious person especially when it comes to culture what surrounds her and society. From bold to abstract compositions to captivating ropes or fabric installations that challenge perception.
She loves working in large scale and experimenting with different materials, textiles, deconstructing and rebuilding. Imperfection, volumes, and textures serve as her artistic tool and define her artistic identity. Her main inspiration comes from nature, philosophy, music, movement, literature, culture, artists and society. Whether her artistic works are related to fashion or art, they typically focus on emotions, the individual, and personal experiences. They aim to evoke and raise awareness on delicate and vulnerable topics in our society.
Alessia is currently establishing herself and her dreams in order to be able to work full time as an artist and designer.
